Burgers and Karaoke

If you've ever been in Japan, they really specialize in Japanese food, but in other areas, they don't do so well.  I usually say don't try the Mexican food or their Hamburgers.  My friend Yuka asked me to make some since she had a chance to eat it the first time I was in Japan.  So Yuka and I go out to AEON super market to find ingredients.  Normally it's very hard just to find a hamburger bun, but AEON has most of the items I needed.  We head back and start making the burgers.

I first start making the bacon.  It's not like bacon in America, but it works.

Then I cook the meat.  The meat is seasoned with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder.

I also made some potato wedges.  This is all used with the bacon juice and meat juice.  No added oils.  It really makes these potato wedges really tasty.

Here is Yuka's attempt to make a hamburger.  It's quite tall I would say.

Stephanie also came by and she wanted to make my burger for me.
Tokyo

So in return I had to make one for her.  She is on a diet so I said I would make one that is healthier.  Protein style!

Final pic of my burger with the wedges.

It was tasty!  I probably need to think of another way to make the bun more tasty next time.

We all chill for a bit because we're going to karaoke later in Ginza.  This deal was pay for the room and its all you can drink for 12 hours.  You read right, 12 hours of non stop drinking, if you can hang.

When we arrived the view was amazing.

The streets of Koenji

I bought my bicycle so I can take it with me and ride when I feel like it.  I may not be a true cyclist but at least I will ride when I can.  My first actual ride is through Koenji and Nakano streets.  I only rode 7.8 miles or 12.55 km.  It's difficult to ride through the crowded streets of Japan to have to dodge everyone on the sidewalk.

If you dont know me, I used to be an avid car show guy.  I used to own a 2007 Honda Fit and sold it April 2015.  I love cars still, just don't want to have a money pit.  http://www.superstreetonline.com/features/htup-1208-2007-honda-fit-sport/

Markara found some cool dealerships so we took a look. Here's a Lotus Evora just hanging out by the sidewalk.

I totally skipped out on eating before riding.  Bad idea because I was getting light headed.  So we stopped by to get some ramen.  This one had a quail egg!
Tokyo

After a bit of resting, we go check out Akihabara again.  I should just get a place there next time I go.  You'll see more posts about it again, yes again :D

I explore the shops and this is for you Star Wars fans

Umaru-chan!  Trying to find her items was a task and mainly why I went to Akihabara so often.
Tokyo

To find nothing I could buy with Umaru-chan, I head to the UDX building.

Just an old Supra hanging out.
